Killarney House
Biscoe Wilson Architects worked in association with Margaret Ward Architect on a country retreat for friends of Margaret.
A sloping site at Killarney was chosen and a simple extruded form that nestled into the brow of the hill became the solution. Polished concrete floor, steel framing and some sandstone were the building blocks. A simple plan form protected by skillion roofs provided an economical and easily constructed solution for this remote site.
